The proper signage is essential to those with disabilities because it informs them how to use a building safely. We have the knowledge to keep your business in compliance with the latest ADA requirements. ADA signs are typically required to designate restrooms, rooms, exits, elevator & stairwell access, as well as outdoor parking signs. Our Standard Braille and Tactile ADA signs are 6" x 9" and are made of high impact styrene. The braille, pictograms and letters are raised to the required 1/32". Color options include white on blue, black on taupe, white on black, and white on light gray.
We also can create custom ADA compliant signs. We are sure to create custom signs with proper contrast, typestyles, letter size, braille grade and pictograms to keep in compliance with ADA regulations.
Our Standard Handicapped Parking signs are 12" x 18" and are made of 040 Aluminum with rounded corners. We can include holes in either the 4 corners for wall mounted signs or 2 holes centered for post mounted signs. Custom options such as thicker aluminum or reflective sheeting are available upon request.
The number of handicapped accessible parking spaces required depends on the number of overall spaces available in a lot. Below is a list showing the ADA requirements:
